About Karen

Karen is a festive, child-like adult with very few worries, and she loves listening to music and singing all day long!

Like all people, she loves to go places and spend time outside. She especially loves outings at the zoo and the park. She adores animals. During the majority of the day she listens to music on an Amazon Fire tablet and lives in her own world of singing to songs.

Who We’re Looking For

Karen is looking for a caring helper willing to assist her in her home with daily activities and personal upkeep. The ideal helper must be able to lift at least 20 pounds, and anyone with a CNA or similar experience is a plus but not necessary.

This position can also be a great opportunity for light studying or reading while supervising Karen.

Applicable Information

We have a modern, dependable, and fully equipped van for transporting Karen and her wheelchair, so having a valid license is preferred. Applicants must be able to pass a simple drug test.

This is a position in Karen’s home. You will assist Karen with daily living, including but not limited to cooking, light cleaning, going outside, and upkeep of personal hygiene.

Description

In this position, you will be fulfilling the role of a home care aide to a child-like adult, non-walking, disabled female in her home located in the Mesa Hills neighborhood of El Paso, Texas. 20 to 25 hours per week, varying days of the week. The pay for this position is $15/hr after initial training and trial period.
